Povodom 23. Human Rights Film Festivala u Zagrebu, pozivamo vas na besplatnu online projekciju filma „Šume šume“.
Formiran oko četiri glavne priče, film Šume, šume spaja vizualno impresivne segmente sa svjedočanstvima partizanki. Nanica (18), koja je umrla još u ratu, iza sebe je ostavila dnevnik. Marija (87) prije nekoliko godina dala je audiointervju te imamo zabilježen njen glas. Preostale dvije protagonistice Hilda (105) i Zdenka (96) strasno svjedoče o svojim ratnim i poratnim iskustvima. Film traga za skrivenim ženskim principima, formama i značenjima u pričama koje znamo, koje mislimo da znamo i koje tek trebamo saznati – i kojima diže spomenik.
Film je režirala Renata Poljak, a producirali su ga Documenta – Centar za suočavanje s prošlošću i Kinematograf.

In occasion of the 23. Human Rights Film Festival in Zagreb, we invite you to the free online screening of the movie “Šume šume – Woods that sing”.
Formed around 4 main stories, the film combines visually impressive segments with the testimonies of female partisans. Nanica (18) died young during the war and left behind a diary. Marija (87) gave an audio interview a couple of years ago and we have her audio recording. Hilda (105) and Zdenka (96) passionately testify about their war and post-war experiences. The film searches for hidden feminine principles, forms and meanings in the stories that we know, that we think we know and that we have yet to find out. This film is a monument to the stories because those stories are not important only to them.
The movie is directed by Renata Poljak and produced by Documenta – Center for dealing with the past and Kinematograf.
