On this page we are sharing with you the campaign materials in regards to the project “Role of Victim”, which lasted from March 1st 2024 until December 31st 2025. The materials consist of five (5) reels recorded by the participants of the Youth Camp, held in Tuhelj in April 2025. Each reel include participants sharing their experience and answering to the following questions:
1) What part of the camp was the most interesting to you?
2) What is the attitude towards victims in your city?
3) What did you learn during the camp?
4) How did you experience the camp?
5) What message would you send to the younger generations?
The videos are in English and feature young people from Italy, Croatia and Slovenia. The reels are available on the website of SABA RH and have been shared with their networks of partners. Also, full transcriptions of the recordins are available as PDF documents under each video:
The second part of the materials includes one (1) longer video created by the Slovenian students included in the research and publication. In the video, the involved students share their research, findings, and experience with other young people interested in the topics of memory, history, and memorialization. The video is in Slovenian with English subtitles, but you can also find the full trancription in Croatian, Italian, English and Slovenian below the video.
The final part also includes one (1) longer video with the recording of the round table, held in June 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The video contains lectures from the panelists, project’s partners, students, and policymakers. We provide you with the YouTube link for it below:
